Climate Change Resources - Cross-curricular possibilities

In anticipation of the upcoming Climate Justice Rally and Climate Action Strike, teachers may wish to share/take advantage of our library's DVD resources, feature films/documentaries,  and kits/teacher resources related to climate change kit (suited to grades 9 & 10).

Although these resources may best fit with Social Studies and Science courses, there are opportunities to adapt them in other subject areas.

Click the link below for a full list of resources that are available through our library; this list combines hard copy resources in our library with digital resources available through Curio, the NFB and Criterion Pictures.

NOTE:  as there is no way to individually link Criterion films, I've provided a screenshot of the films that are available.

Access Criterion Films at the link below then enter the user name and password:

Once logged in, do a keyword search "climate" and the list of films shown below will pop up.  The image below is NOT a hyperlink to the films, simply an image of what is available.

To help students become more informed about climate change, the library is displaying a collection of books at the library entrance from Sept. 16-27
